My first software engineering work experience was interning at a company, HPR, which works on high-performance capital market infrastructure code. I worked on test infrastructure for one of their products, creating validations for their code. I worked alongside my mentor and other employees, supporting the code they were working on with my tests. I also gained experiences working in a Linux environment and more familiarity with git.
